Welcome to the Aqua Bay, one of the last remaining traditional guest houses on the Herne Bay seafront. Our lovely Victorian building is central to the charm of this wonderful beach resort that offers both fabulous views and personal customer service for the quintessential English seaside experience.
We have two Seaview Family Rooms which give our guests a wonderful opportunity to watch some of the breath-taking sunrises and sunsets which Herne Bay offers. Please note these rooms are located on the 2nd & 3rd floors so not recommended for those unable to climb stairs or with health issues.
Our standard rooms offer cosy, comfortable accommodation and are situated at the rear of the building. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. An iron & ironing board are available for guest use on request
Our delicious homemade cooked breakfasts are made from locally sourced products including home made fish cakes and fresh kippers supplied from Whitstables own famous harbour. And during the summer months, we offer traditional afternoon cream teas.
Aqua Bay also offers the service of our dining room and lounge for lunch, business meetings and family gatherings where a finger buffet or individual catering needs can be met. We can also arrange to take group bookings enabling you to have the vicinity of the barbeque to yourselves for any celebration. We are also the proud owners of a certificate of excellence from tripadvisor and we have also recently been awarded five stars for our good food from Canterbury Council.
